Grocery & Specialty Food West (GSFW) is Canada’s premier western grocery trade show, bringing together retailers and manufacturers from across the nation to discover new innovations, network and build relationships within the grocery industry. GSFW is dedicated towards helping businesses grow, build their business and develop relationships with key retailers.

We were tasked with the creation of engaging content leading up to and during the show, and the garnering of media coverage and attention before, during and following the show. CFIG also wanted to engage food and grocer exhibitors and attendees.
Popcorn was proud to assist CFIG with PR and social media management for GSFW 2019, a B2B trade show for food manufacturers and grocers. We secured attendance from a number of prominent media including CTV BC News, Fairchild TV, Daily Hive, Sing Tao Newspaper, Vancouver Foodie, AM 1470 and Straight Cannabis.
We were able to achieve 69.9 million media impressions valued at nearly $600,000 in equivalent advertising value. Our B2B social media advertising campaign on LinkedIn reached over 17,000 food manufacturing contacts and potential customers.
